SalukiCon 2026

So with SalukiCon 2026 officially in the books, we walked away with a lot of really incredible memories. I just have a few things to say because it dawns on me that some of the things that make these conventions so special to us at Haven 3D Prints might not be as clear to everyone who just interacts with us through the website. Now, I’ve been to SalukiCon for many years now and I’m going to just be as up front as possible about how this weekend went.

First, my number one priority will always be the success of the community and the vibe of the event. The cosplay this year was absolutely top-tier, and we were surrounded by awesome vendors slinging some of the coolest video game and comic book products I’ve seen in a while.

We even managed to step away from the booth long enough to listen to Henry Thomas give a talk. Hearing him describe what it was actually like becoming famous at such a young age was incredibly grounding. It’s moments like that where you realize we’re all just here because we share a massive love for this culture. I don’t care if you’re a Hollywood actor or a guy looking for D&D dice, I love you all 100% the same when we’re geeking out together.

Second, I want our booth to be a place where you guys can just hang out and have a blast. I enjoy spending time with each and every one of you who stops by the table. This year, we decided to sell mystery Pokéballs with 3D printed Pokémon figures hidden inside. There isn’t any personal favoritism behind who gets what it’s all completely random but the universe definitely aligned for one dude. He bought a Masterball, cracked it open right there at the table, and pulled a legendary Suicune. He absolutely lost his mind and told us it was his all-time favorite Pokémon. I love seeing that pure, unfiltered joy just as much as I love printing the models themselves.

I’ll be pretty upfront, some of the stuff we brought this year was a bit of a test run to see what you guys are into. We brought our brand new release of Grimdark Miniatures the “Blades of the Forest.” For those who missed it, these are some incredibly badass space wood elves designed by Edge Miniatures. You guys absolutely devoured them. Because I do actually care about bringing you the highest quality prints possible, seeing your reactions to these highly detailed sculpts puts my mind at ease that we are moving in the exact right direction.

That being said, I have some pretty big plans for where we go from here, and I want each and every one of you to know that we are 100% willing to push the boundaries of what Haven 3D Prints can do. We want to expand into massive, larger-than-life terrain displays for future conventions. I simply cannot build the immersive worlds I want to show you guys if we stay small. I promise, I can easily put your minds at ease about the future of our booth. We are going to make it an absolute destination next time.

Thank you to everyone who made SalukiCon 2026 unforgettable. We’ll see you at the next one!
